Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Legalpak website and service at legalpak.co.uk (the “Service”). The Service is operated by O Law Ventures Ltd (Company No. 12857620, England & Wales), trading as Legalpak (“Legalpak”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Legalpak is a due-diligence assistant for buyers considering property at UK auction. It uses artificial intelligence to summarise and highlight sections of a “legal pack” PDF that you upload, using a traffic-light system (red, yellow, green) to indicate potential risk. The Service also lets you add your own manual highlights and download a PDF report.

2. Not legal advice

Legalpak does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for a qualified solicitor. Our output is generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations. You must obtain independent legal advice before bidding, exchanging contracts, or committing to any transaction. Nothing on the Service creates a solicitor–client relationship.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or over and legally able to contract in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
  • You must give us a permanent email address. Disposable, temporary or single-use email addresses may be rejected.
  • One account per person. Attempts to create multiple accounts to abuse the free trial may result in account suspension without refund.

4. Fees and payments

The Service is offered on the following tiers, priced in Pounds Sterling (GBP):

  • Sample report — free. No signup required, no analysis of your own documents.
  • Single pack analysis — £12 per pack. Unlocks AI analysis for one specific pack you have uploaded.
  • Legalpak Pro — £29 for 30 days of unlimited pack analyses. Access ends automatically at the end of the 30-day period; there is no auto-renewal.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Prices may change; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

As at the date of these Terms, O Law Ventures Ltd is not VAT registered. Prices shown are the total price you pay.

5. Refunds

Because our Service is a digital product delivered instantly on request, you agree that your statutory right to cancel a distance contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 ends the moment we start providing the AI analysis to you. Before you click “Run AI analysis” you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing hello@legalpak.co.uk. Unlimited-tier refunds may be prorated at our discretion for unused days.

6. Your content

You retain all rights in the legal pack PDFs and highlights you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content only to provide the Service — including sending its text to our AI processing partner (Anthropic) for analysis. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to share;
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service;
  • Resell the Service or its outputs as your own regulated legal advice;
  • Use the Service to break the law, or to harm anyone.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to that:

  • The Service is provided as is. We do not warrant that AI output is complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the total fees you have paid us in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
  • We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost bids, or losses arising from your reliance on AI-generated output.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or attempt to abuse the free trial or refund policy. On termination we may delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via a notice in the Service. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with the Service.
